Father,
This day is yours.
A day in time.
We stumble over them all the time,
just waiting to get to the next one.
….and the next one…
….and the next one….
Until we realize
at the end of our lives
that each day counted
and that days weren’t meant to just
get through
and stumble through
on our way to tomorrow…
which then becomes today
on our way to tomorrow…
No, today is paramount
Yesterday is a whisper
Tomorrow is…
well…
it is subject to what we do with today.
